Lisa Faitell, designer
Lisa Faitell, founder of the successful design firm, Faitell Interiors, is the brains and the creative force behind her latest enterprise, Homme Interior, specializing in designing custom living spaces for sophisticated single men.
After years of selling real estate in Manhattan, followed by more than 20 years of interior design experience, Lisa recognized a growing trend in an underserved, yet well-deserved niche market in interior design. She found that this unique population of single men has the style and desire for both a comfortable and sophisticated Homme-Home, but don’t have the time, and in many cases the inclination to do it on their own. Her idea quickly transformed into a comprehensive design service that not only addresses the room schematics and furnishings, but also provides linens, flatware, artwork, entertainment accessories.....everything that makes a home a home. “At Homme Interior, we even take it a step further and set up and organize the home for immediate turn-key enjoyment”
Lisa sets herself apart from other designers by tapping into the individuality and lifestyle of her clients and as a result, each project reflects the client’s personality and uniqueness. She credits her passion and success to her "natural curiosity about people and a deep passion for design, detail and aesthetics. My goal is to understand my clients..........and they trust me!”

Homme Stimulus
When asked what her approach to design is, Lisa’s response is simple,“ I just make things look good! I like to create an environment that is uncluttered, peaceful and well-balanced.” Lisa avoids trends as they come and go. Instead, she works her magic by creating a timeless environment that blends both old and new to insure its longevity.
Inspiration for her interiors comes from a variety of sources. She loves to incorporate color schemes, textures and patterns from nature into her design elements. By mimicking nature in home design “we create healthy, Eco-friendly environments that are sustainable and both soothing and energizing.” Travel too, is a huge source of inspiration for Lisa’s design projects. “When I am traveling and experiencing new cultures, I am constantly inspired and on stimulus overload! Whether I am in a flea market in Paris, or a stall in a Souk in Marrakesh, I will invariably see a color combination, a pattern, an element of nature, an artisans craft, or an architectural detail that I can incorporate into my work.”

Lisa has a longstanding collaboration with Nils Kasparsons, owner of Exclusive Woodwork. Together they design handsome furniture, built-ins, paneling, staircases, libraries, home theatres, kitchens, bathrooms... you name it!
